BRIV Construction is a family-owned company originating in Kotor, with successful decade-long operations throughout Montenegro and the Balkan region. The company’s main business activity is centred on civil engineering. An expansive company portfolio includes internationally renowned luxury developments on the Montenegrin coast, including the Regent Porto Montenegro and Portonovi luxury villas. BRIV Construction has successfully secured its reputation as a quality and reliable partner across both local and international markets. BRIV’s previous experience in the tourism industry resulted in the birth of a sister company, BRIV Hospitality, which together with BRIV Construction, has based its business on the construction and management of hotel and residential capacities of the highest standards. One such location acquired by BRIV Hospitality is the site of the former Teuta Hotel in Risan, located in the heart of the Bay of Kotor’s UNESCO protected area. The investor’s primary goal is to awake the town of Risan from a deep slumber, transforming it into one of the most attractive tourism destinations in Montenegro. The potential of BRIV’s endeavours were endorsed by renowned hotelier, Mӧvenpick, the brand behind the new hotel site.

The inspiration for the logo was the upper part of the key of the city of Kotor, which is kept in the Maritime Museum of that coastal town, as well as the famous Dobrota lace. Dobrota lace is a type of lace that originates from Dobrota, a settlement in the Bay of Kotor, in the immediate vicinity of Kotor. It is unique in its manufacturing method and recognized as such in the world’s scientific and cultural circles.
